Lynden High School Students Spice Up School Menus
Lynden High School students are taking a hands-on approach to improving school lunches. In collaboration with the district's Food Services, members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) conducted a taste test event on December 19, 2024.

What's Cooking?
Students sampled potential new menu items, including:
Greek Salad
Breakfast Burrito
Ramen Chicken Bowl
Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Egg Roll
Chicken Tender with Spicy Honey Dipping Sauce
Using QR codes, participants provided instant feedback on their favorites. The data collected will help Food Services tailor menus to student preferences, ensuring meals are both nutritious and enjoyable.
Why It Matters:
This initiative empowers students to have a say in their meal options and provides FBLA members with real-world experience in market research and data analysis. It's a win-win for taste buds and budding business leaders alike!
